About Bob Thompson

At age 9, Bob Thompson bought his first rock and roll record, a 78 rpm of "Party Doll" by Buddy Knox. Six years later, he bought his first guitar that, according to Bob, completely changed his life in determining the college he attended, his spouse, and his decision to live in Columbia, Tennessee. He has played in several bands over the years, including the Tennessee Pride and has continued to develop his passion in blues, bluegrass and Americana music. His musical influences are Jesse Winchester, Delbert McClinton, Guy Clark, and Lester Flatt.
